    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of commercial heating and cooling systems, troubleshooting experience, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing complex HVAC systems while ensuring compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, and VRF systems.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently.
    • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to maximize system performance and longevity.
    • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety standards.
    • Collaborate with building engineers, facility managers, and contractors on HVAC system design and performance.
    • Document all work performed, including service reports and parts used using company ERP system.
    • Respond to emergency (weekends/afterhours) HVAC service requests as needed.
    • Stay up to date with advancements in HVAC technology and industry best practices.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • HVAC certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
    • EPA Universal certification required.
    • Knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
    • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) is a plus.
    • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces or extreme weather conditions.
    • Strong communication and customer service skills.
    • Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e., Smartphone, iPad).
    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    About Company

    We are a commercial HVAC Manufacturer's Representative in the DFW Area.   We represent over 25 different Manufacturers in this market.

    We have over 15 Engineering  degreed Sales persons who work with engineerinng firms to specfiy our products on jobs prior to them coming out for bid.  Once the job comes out for bid these same sales persons work with mechanical contractors to secure the job based upon specification and pricing.  Once the equipment is sold for a particular job, our service department which is made up of 8 field service technicians who commission and startup this equipment.   The technician we are looking to hire with this ad would be working on our Phoenix Control Systems which have a Niagara platform.   We are a growing company with excellent benefits and offer other opportunities to grow your career.
