Perfection Group is hiring Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to serve commercial and industrial customers throughout Cleveland, Chattanooga, and the surrounding Southeast Tennessee market.
You’ll work on a variety of commercial HVAC systems while receiving the tools, training, and operational support needed to do your best work. You’ll have the independence to manage your service calls while remaining connected to an experienced team that is ready to help when a challenge requires additional expertise.
What You’ll Get

Overtime paid after eight hours worked in a day
Double time for work performed on observed holidays and between midnight and 6:00 a.m.

The Work
You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment at customer facilities throughout Cleveland, Chattanooga, and the surrounding service area.
Depending on your experience and customer assignments, equipment may include:
Packaged rooftop units
Split systems and heat pumps
Air-handling and make-up air systems
Chillers and chilled-water systems
Boilers and hydronic systems
Commercial refrigeration equipment
Variable-frequency drives
Building automation and HVAC control systems
Your responsibilities will include:
Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, hydronic, and controls-related problems
Identifying the cause of equipment failures and developing practical repair solutions
Performing scheduled preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and service life
Clearly explaining equipment conditions, repair needs, and recommended next steps to customers
Identifying necessary parts and completing repairs according to manufacturer specifications and safe work practices
Maintaining accurate service notes, repair documentation, and follow-up information
Communicating scheduling changes, parts needs, and customer concerns promptly
Coordinating effectively with dispatch, customers, leadership, and other technicians
Participating in a rotating emergency on-call schedule, including nights and weekends
Maintaining an organized company vehicle, tools, inventory, and work area
Building positive working relationships with customers and teammates
Participating in company- and manufacturer-provided technical and safety training
What You Bring
Three or more years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience
Experience diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment
Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, airflow, and control systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Universal EPA Section 608 certification
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
Ability to manage service calls independently at your demonstrated skill level
Clear, professional communication and customer-service skills
Dependability, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through
Ability to work independently while staying connected and accountable to the team
Commitment to safe, accurate, high-quality work
Willingness to continue learning new equipment, systems, and technologies
Experience with chillers, boilers, commercial refrigeration, building automation, or advanced controls is valued, but you do not need to be an expert in every system to be considered.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of an HVAC trade-school program, apprenticeship, manufacturer training, or equivalent technical education is preferred. Comparable commercial field experience will also be considered.
