Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment tune-ups.
• Service and maintain rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, package units, heat pumps, air handlers, ventilation systems, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigerant, airflow, and control system issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform startup, testing, and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Communicate findings, repair recommendations, and maintenance needs to customers.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience servicing RTUs, split systems, package units, heat pumps, air handlers, and ventilation equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Direct Digital Controls (DDC), and HVAC controls is a plus.
