Compensation: $35–$65/hour based on experience + overtime + performance bonus eligibility
You start your morning reviewing the day’s service calls across the NYC Metro and New Jersey. A rooftop unit with intermittent alarms, a walk-in cooler running warm, a chiller efficiency check, and PMs that keep clients ahead of failures. By noon, you’ve diagnosed a controls issue, communicated a clear plan with the customer and dispatch, and captured detailed notes in the service app. Before the day ends, you’ve buttoned up clean workmanship on a split system, documented recommendations to reduce downtime, and left the client confident their operation is protected.

What You’ll Tackle
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout NYC Metro and NJ.
- Pinpoint issues across mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, airflow, and controls.
- Work on rooftop units, split systems, refrigeration systems, exhaust and make-up air, boilers, chillers, and related commercial equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to improve uptime, efficiency, and equipment life.
- Document findings, repairs, and recommendations with clarity; communicate with clients, dispatch, and service leadership.
- Uphold safety standards, code requirements, and company procedures in commercial/industrial environments.
- Represent Airlogix with integrity, professionalism, and clean workmanship.
- Leverage technology and diagnostics to deliver smarter, data-backed solutions.
- Contribute to team growth through knowledge-sharing and a culture of excellence.
What Sets You Up for Success
- Solid commercial HVAC-R service experience (commercial/industrial background preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting across refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and controls.
- EPA Certification required; Universal EPA preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable record.
- OSHA/SST or similar NYC jobsite safety credentials preferred.
- Clear, professional communication with clients and teammates.

Work Setting
Work Location: In person
This is a field role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location. Expect day trips to job sites, with most nights at home.
