A day in the life
- Arrive prepared: review assignments, load parts, and plan efficient routes.
- Install and commission HVAC/R equipment in commercial environments.
- Perform preventive maintenance and detailed inspections to optimize performance.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues—mechanical, electrical, and controls—quickly and safely.
- Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations with accuracy.
- Communicate clearly with customers on findings, options, and next steps.
- Apply safety and environmental best practices at every job site.
- Collaborate with teammates to solve tough problems and elevate service quality.
- Keep your edge sharp by staying current on HVAC/R technologies and trends.
What you bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC/R preferred.
- 3–5 years of commercial HVAC/R service and installation experience.
- Solid command of HVAC/R systems, components, and tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Clean MVR and Background for high clearance locations.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Comfort working independently and in a team setting.
