Perfection Group is hiring a skilled Commercial HVAC Installer to support projects in Charleston and the surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced installer who understands commercial HVAC systems and takes pride in completing safe, accurate, high-quality work. You’ll install and replace equipment, troubleshoot field issues, and coordinate with customers and project partners to keep work moving successfully.

Paid drive time, a company vehicle, major tools, and continued technical training are provided.

What You’ll Do

• Install and replace commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and related components
• Work with split and packaged DX systems, boilers, refrigeration equipment, duct systems, chilled-water piping, DX piping, thermal-storage systems, and building automation systems
• Install piping, ductwork, thermostats, controls, valves, dampers, blowers, electrical connections, and other system components
• Connect equipment to fuel, water, refrigerant, electrical, and control sources
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, wiring diagrams, equipment submittals, and manufacturer instructions
• Lay out and complete electrical wiring between controls and equipment
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, controls, and mechanical issues encountered during installation
• Repair or replace components as needed to complete installations and restore proper operation
• Inspect, test, calibrate, and adjust equipment to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and manufacturer requirements
• Confirm that completed repairs and installations have corrected identified system issues
• Identify field concerns early and communicate repair, material, scheduling, or scope needs promptly
• Coordinate professionally with customers, office teams, project leadership, subcontractors, and other trades
• Complete work orders and required documentation accurately and on time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site, company vehicle, tools, and assigned equipment
• Stay current with emerging HVAC technologies, equipment, and installation practices

You May Be a Great Fit If You

• Have at least three years of commercial or industrial HVAC installation experience
• Understand commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, piping, ductwork, and controls systems
• Are experienced with split and packaged DX systems, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and chilled-water systems
• Can read and work confidently from blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot field issues and develop practical, effective solutions
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, project leaders, office teams, and other trades
• Work independently while remaining connected and accountable to the larger project team
• Take ownership of materials, documentation, schedules, tools, and assigned responsibilities
• Take pride in completing safe, accurate, high-quality work with minimal rework
• Hold a Universal EPA Section 608 certification
• Hold a valid West Virginia HVAC Technician license
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Hold a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
