Commercial HVAC Foreman - DFW, TX

Position Summary
The Commercial HVAC Foreman serves as the on-site leader for mechanical construction projects, providing direction to field personnel while coordinating with Project Managers, General Contractors, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial HVAC background, proven leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple project priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Crew Leadership

• Supervise, coordinate, and mentor HVAC installers, mechanics, and apprentices.
• Assign daily work activities and monitor crew productivity.
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented jobsite culture.

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee daily field operations to keep projects on schedule and within labor budgets.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, and General Contractors to resolve field issues.
• Identify potential delays and implement solutions to maintain project timelines.

Quality Control

• Ensure all work complies with project specifications, mechanical codes, and industry standards.
• Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Conduct routine quality inspections to ensure proper installation and workmanship.

Jobsite Administration

• Manage material deliveries, inventory, and equipment utilization.
• Maintain accurate timesheets, daily reports, and progress documentation.
• Assist with project inspections, punch lists, and closeout activities.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and site-specific requirements.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and compliance.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical construction experience.
• 2+ years in a Foreman, Lead Installer, or similar supervisory role.
• Experience managing commercial new construction, renovation, or retrofit projects.

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, hydronic piping, and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Certifications & Licenses

• Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• EPA Certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Texas HVACR or Mechanical License is a plus.
