Commercial HVAC Field Service Specialist
Picture your workday: you review your first dispatch over coffee, load up your tools, and head to a customer site in New Jersey. By mid-morning, you’re commissioning a rooftop packaged unit. After lunch, you diagnose a humidity control issue on a water-source heat pump. Before you wrap, you fine-tune an energy management sequence and document your findings for the customer. That’s a typical day in this role—hands-on startup and service across commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management systems.
What you’ll take on
- Start up, commission, and service commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop packaged units and water-source heat pumps.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues across air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control, and energy management applications.
- Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams; provide organized service reports and recommendations.
- Operate independently in the field while staying dependable, timely, and safety-minded.
- Mentor less-experienced technicians and support on-the-job learning.
Who you are
- Experienced: 5+ years of commercial HVAC field experience (startup/commissioning included).
- Knowledgeable in commercial A/C and heating, water-source heat pumps, and rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
- A self-starter with excellent communication and strong organizational habits; reliably on time.
- Equipped with your own hand tools and a clean driving record.
- Certified: EPA Universal (required); OSHA 30 preferred.
