Build your future with a trusted commercial and industrial HVAC equipment partner in Stow, OH, where your technical estimating work directly supports real projects for hospitals, schools, and data centers. In this Commercial HVACEstimator opportunity, you’ll own the estimating function, coordinate bids, and communicate with contractors to keep projects moving from drawings to submission.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Commercial HVAC Estimator position include:
- Experience reading construction drawings and performing material or equipment takeoffs (or the aptitude to develop these skills through training).
- Experience estimating or preparing bids for commercial HVAC, hydronic, steam, or related mechanical systems.
- Organize multiple estimates and bid deadlines while maintaining an accurate bid calendar.
- Review drawings/specifications and perform equipment takeoffs to support accurate estimates.
- Prepare, coordinate, and submit bids within established deadlines for an established customer base.
- Handle RFIs and equipment substitutions/technical clarifications as needed.
- Communicate directly with mechanical contractors, estimators, and project coordinators to clarify requirements.
- Use Excel and support the transition toward Bluebeam and estimating automation.
Salary: $60,000 - $100,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
