    Your mission

    Own the lifecycle of commercial HVAC systems: launch them right, keep them optimized, and restore them quickly when they falter.

    Key outcomes

    • Expert troubleshooting and repair of commercial HVAC systems to minimize downtime.
    • Preventive maintenance across RTUs, chillers, split systems, air handlers, and package units to extend equipment life.
    • Proactive inspections to identify and mitigate issues before failures occur.
    • Start-up, testing, balancing, and commissioning that meet spec and pass with confidence.
    • Accurate, timely service documentation for transparent customer communication.
    • Clear explanations to clients about system performance, repair options, and next steps.
    • Uncompromising adherence to company safety practices and local code requirements.
    • Collaborative execution with project managers, service coordinators, and peers.

    What sets you up for success

    • Preferred 4+ years of commercial HVAC experience and strong diagnostic acumen.
    • Direct experience with RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and controls.
    • Understanding of HVAC controls and building automation systems (BAS) is advantageous.
    • Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record.
    • Independent work ethic combined with professionalism and customer-first service.

    Valued background

    • Commercial service and maintenance track record.
    • Hands-on time with brands like Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Lennox, or similar.

    Capabilities and knowledge

    • HVAC and HVAC/R system expertise; strong customer service orientation.
    • Refrigeration systems and proper handling of refrigerants.
    • Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (controls, circuits, sensors).
    • Mechanical troubleshooting and component-level repair proficiency.
    • Preventive maintenance and inspection methodologies.
    • Ability to troubleshoot industrial automation equipment.
    • Full spectrum: HVAC service, installation, maintenance, system troubleshooting, and repair.
    • Mechanical systems knowledge and blueprint/drawing interpretation.

    Tools and tech you’ll leverage

    • Commercial HVAC equipment and refrigeration/cooling systems.
    • Voltage detectors/testers and digital multimeters.
    • Power tools and specialized trade instruments.
