Commercial Ground Up Construction Project ManagerOur client is a well-established commercial general contractor with a strong presence throughout New Jersey, specializing in ground-up commercial developments and interior fit-outs for retail, restaurant, and hospitality clients. They have built a reputation for delivering high-quality projects, fostering strong client relationships, and providing employees with long-term career growth opportunities.Job DescriptionManage multiple commercial construction projects from award through final turnover.Oversee all phases of ground-up construction projects, including sitework, foundations, structural work, and building completion.Lead retail and restaurant fit-out projects, coordinating trades to ensure timely delivery with minimal disruption to operations.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost reports.Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and ownership teams.Review and manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and safety compliance.Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to maintain schedules and budgets.Facilitate client meetings and provide consistent project updates throughout the construction process.Ensure all projects meet local code requirements, company standards, and client expectations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
