Job Title: Commercial Glazier – 26-00207

Spherion Mid Ohio is seeking an experienced Commercial Glazier for a direct hire position with an established family-owned company in Lexington, Ohio.

This position offers a pay range of $26-$32 /hour with full benefits and a Monday-Friday 7:30a-4:30p schedule. No weekends, no over-nights! This role offers a family-oriented culture and great work life balance!

Overview:
The Commercial Glazier will be responsible for measuring, cutting, installing, and replacing glass in various structures as well as layout & installation of aluminum storefront and curtain wall systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of glass properties and installation techniques, as well as a commitment to safety and precision.

Responsibilities:
-Install and assemble aluminum storefront, curtain wall systems, and glazing with accuracy and efficiency
-Replacing damaged or failed glass units in commercial buildings
-Install glass in windows, doors, and other structural systems
-Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and elevations to guide installation
-Safely handle and install insulated glass units (IGUs), including heavy lifting as needed
-Apply sealants and caulking to ensure weatherproof, code-compliant installations
-Ability to commute within a 60-mile radius of Mansfield
-Load frames and glass onto the truck the night before for next-day jobs
-Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and jobsite professionalism

Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years of glass installation (glazing) experience, with a focus on storefront and/or curtain wall systems
-1 year of experience in storefront installation required
-1 year of caulking experience required
-Strong ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings
-Solid understanding of installation methods, materials, and jobsite workflows
-Physical ability to lift and maneuver large glass units safely, lifting up to 70lbs
-Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record 

Nice to Have:
-Experience installing or servicing door hardware systems
-Broader construction or finish carpentry experience
-Ability to utilize technology to implement project progress 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, no over-nights, no weekends

Compensation: $26-$32 /hour (approximately $54,080-$66,560 annually)
