Commercial Glass Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Glass Estimator to join our dynamic team in Miami. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in the glass and glazing industry, who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately estimate the cost, materials, labor, and time required for commercial glazing projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to obtain the best prices and products.
• Prepare detailed proposals and bid packages for clients.
• Track project expenses and adjust budget projections accordingly.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, products, and pricing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a glass estimator, preferably in the commercial sector.
• Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems and materials.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
