We are looking for Commercial Flooring Apprentices<\/b> who want to learn the flooring trade from experienced professionals. You do not need flooring experience.<\/b> We are looking for people with the right attitude, work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn.

This isn''t just a laborer position. Our goal is to train and develop you into a skilled commercial flooring installer.<\/b>

What You''ll Learn

<\/h3>

You''ll work alongside experienced commercial flooring installers and receive hands-on training in:

<\/p>

• Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)

<\/li>

• Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)

<\/li>

• Carpet and Carpet Tile

<\/li>

• Sheet Vinyl

<\/li>

• Floor preparation

<\/li>

• Proper use of flooring tools and equipment

<\/li>

• Measuring, layout, cutting, and installation techniques

<\/li>

• Reading jobsites and understanding the installation process

<\/li>

• Jobsite safety and commercial construction practices

<\/li><\/ul>

As your skills develop, you''ll be given more responsibility with the goal of progressing from Apprentice to Installer and eventually Lead Installer.<\/b>

What You''ll Do

<\/h3>

While you''re learning the trade, you''ll also help the crew with the day-to-day work that keeps projects moving:

<\/p>

• Assist experienced installers on commercial flooring projects

<\/li>

• Load, unload, and stage flooring materials

<\/li>

• Help prepare floors and work areas for installation

<\/li>

• Learn proper installation techniques through hands-on training

<\/li>

• Use and maintain tools and equipment

<\/li>

• Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe

<\/li>

• Follow direction from installers, foremen, and project leaders

<\/li>

• Travel to commercial jobsites throughout Indiana as needed

<\/li>

• Help the team complete projects safely, efficiently, and to our quality standards

<\/li><\/ul>

Previous construction, warehouse, manufacturing, landscaping, automotive, maintenance, or other hands-on experience is helpful, but it is not required.<\/b>
