The Commercial Finance Senior Analyst will be a key finance partner to the North American Sales and Marketing organizations. They will be driving insightful value-based analytics on commercial investment of over $100MM annually. This role will be responsible for supporting operating budgets and forecasting, as well as partnering with the organization to support initiatives to increase sales force effectiveness. The SFA will partner with the Deliver & IT teams to drive efficiencies and optimize investments inline with commercial strategy, as well as supporting new commercial initiatives to increase direct sales.

They will report to the Commercial Finance Manager and directly support the VP of Sales as well as other North America Leadership Team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Selling functional area, including Commissions, Sales Force and Selling Home Office budgets, and partner with the commercial sales/business ops team to develop strategy, perform value analysis, and ensure financial commitments are met.
  • Use key systems (Insight, Tableau, SAP, and Anaplan/AFO) to facilitate the creation of more robust analytics and forecasting tools, which ultimately drive valuable insights as well as efficient & Compliant processes.
  • Lead financial analytics development for new commercial initiatives and e-commerce strategies being implemented by the business.
  • Accurate completion of all monthly & quarter close responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all SOX requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably with a major in Finance or Accounting. A MBA, CMA or CPA is preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years in progressive financial accounting and analysis experience is required.
  • A strong understanding of accounting is required
  • An analytical mentality along with the ability to cultivate and maintain strong business relationships is required
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and proactive idea generation is required
  • This role is located in Jacksonville, FL and may require up to 10% travel

Preferred:

  • Experience partnering with and presenting to senior leadership
  • Ability to clearly articulate sophisticated financial information in an easy-to-follow manner
  • SAP and Anaplan knowledge
