Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, trade certification, or equivalent professional experience in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, construction, landscaping, or related skilled trades.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 2 to 5+ years of commercial building maintenance, facilities maintenance, property maintenance, or skilled trades experience.
• Hands-on experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general repair work.
• Ability to complete preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, service calls, and emergency repairs.
• Experience using mobile devices, work order systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in commercial facilities, construction, janitorial services, property management, or landscaping.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and communicate professionally with clients.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, building codes, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience inspecting building systems and providing repair recommendations and project estimates.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces throughout the day.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and travel locally between customer sites daily.

Job Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair services for commercial buildings, equipment, and grounds across an assigned territory.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, lighting, drywall, doors, paint, and other facility components.
• Conduct HVAC, asset, and building inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Complete work orders, service reports, inspections, photos, timesheets, and expense documentation using company-provided technology.
• Maintain a company vehicle, tools, and inventory needed to complete service calls.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, communicate repair status, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Follow all company safety policies, compliance requirements, and OSHA regulations while performing maintenance services.

What You Will Do

As a Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations.
