Pay Rate: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

We are seeking a Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep at multiple commercial properties within an assigned territory. This position requires daily local travel using a company-provided vehicle and tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general repairs, while providing excellent customer service at client locations. Job Duties

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on commercial properties
• Complete work orders and document services using tablets or smartphones
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues, including toilets, faucets, drains, and leaks
• Perform basic electrical repairs, fixture replacements, and lighting maintenance
• Complete drywall repairs, painting, and carpentry projects
• Conduct building, equipment, and asset inspections
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding maintenance needs
• Submit service reports, inspection photos, timesheets, and expense documentation
• Obtain materials and supplies needed to complete assigned work
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and company compliance standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in facility maintenance, building trades, construction, landscaping, or related fields
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and mobile technology
• Ability to read instructions, complete reports, and communicate effectively

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and work in a variety of industrial environments throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift equipment, tools, and replacement parts weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to safely work around moving machinery while following established safety procedures.
• Manual dexterity to operate tools, perform repairs, and inspect equipment.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

What You Will Do

As a Commercial Facilities Maintenance Technician - Leesburg, VA you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.
