Position Overview

An established commercial flooring contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Estimator to support its growing portfolio of large-scale commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in commercial flooring estimating, competitive bidding, and construction plan interpretation, with experience supporting projects involving general contractors, developers, and commercial end users.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and competitive bids for large-scale commercial flooring projects.

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, bid packages, and construction documents.

• Perform accurate material takeoffs, labor calculations, and project cost analysis.

• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to develop competitive proposals.

• Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and sales teams throughout the bidding process.

• Identify scope discrepancies, project risks, and value-engineering opportunities.

Qualifications

• Commercial flooring estimating experience required.

• Experience bidding complex commercial construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring systems, installation methods, and labor requirements.

• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction bid documents.

• Familiarity with commercial bidding processes and general contractor requirements.

• RFMS estimating experience preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
