Commercial Equipment Service Technician

Franklin Cleaning Equipment & Supply Co. , a distributor of Industrial Cleaning Equipment, located in Plymouth Meeting Pa seeks an outside technician to work both the shop and at customer locations. After initial training, a vehicle will be provided.

Scope of work: repair industrial floor cleaning equipment ranging from vacuum cleaner rider scrubbers & sweepers powered by electric cords, batteries, LP fueled engines. Candidate should have strong mechanical, diagnostic, trouble-shooting skills; able to read electrical wiring schematics; experience in repairing small equipment, DC motors, small engine repairs, appliances, hydraulics; automotive, appliance and or/ fork lift repair experience a plus.

Prefer minimum 3 years experience as a mechanic repairing industrial or automotive equipment. Ideal candidate will be located within reasonable close proximity to our facility in Plymouth Meeting Pa. 19462. Minimum high school completed, preferably technical school electrical mechanical training, current driver's license. We also do a background check, require drug test.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.
• Operate hand tools, other equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance repair processes and share knowledge.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
