Description
Responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, panels, circuits, wire basket, and cable tray. Experienced in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations and layouts. Performs electrical testing and repairs to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability. Ensures all work complies with NEC and OSHA safety standards. Experienced with lighting upgrades, generators, transformers, and emergency systems, while coordinating with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
Job Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems (wiring, conduit, panels, circuits) in commercial environments.
Wire basket, cable tray, conduit
Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings to plan layout and installation.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose faults, perform testing on electrical systems, and make necessary repairs to minimize downtime.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to National Electrical Codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
System Upgrades: Install, retrofit, or upgrade lighting systems, generators, transformers, and emergency systems.
