Role Summary
TESIM Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial electrical projects from turnover through closeout. This person will own planning, financial performance, scheduling, procurement, change management, field coordination, and customer communication. Data-center or comparable mission-critical experience is strongly preferred but not required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage project scope, budget, forecast, schedule, billing, procurement, documentation, and closeout.
- Coordinate customers, general contractors, engineers, vendors, subcontractors, field leadership, and internal teams.
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, and estimates; identify scope gaps and project risk early.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, material releases, and long-lead equipment.
- Partner with field leadership on manpower planning, installation strategy, safety, quality, and productivity.
- Lead project meetings and provide timely, direct updates to customers and company leadership.
- Support testing, commissioning, turnover documentation, punch-list completion, and final closeout.
- Protect customer relationships while delivering safe, profitable, high-quality work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in commercial or industrial electrical construction, including project-management responsibility.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, specifications, construction methods, labor planning, and applicable codes.
- Demonstrated ownership of budgets, schedules, procurement, change orders, and customer communication.
- Strong organization, judgment, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; able to manage competing deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common construction/project-management software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to visit jobsites as required.
Preferred Experience
- Data centers, mission-critical facilities, healthcare, advanced manufacturing, telecommunications, or similarly complex projects.
- Medium-voltage distribution, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, busway, grounding, controls, testing, or commissioning.
- Large, fast-track, phased, design-build, or design-assist projects; electrical field background or license.
- Tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.

Safe, on-time delivery; accurate forecasts; prompt change-order management; strong field support; satisfied repeat customers.
Compensation
This is an hourly position. Competitive hourly rate, DOE — starting rate and any approved incentives will be based on experience, capabilities, market relationships, and role scope.
