What You'll DoLeadership & Team DevelopmentConduct regular performance reviews and monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reportsCoach and mentor employees to help them achieve their full potentialLead monthly department meetings focused on safety, performance, communication, and continuous improvementPartner with Talent Acquisition to forecast staffing needs and build a strong workforceOperations & Project ManagementAssist the Commercial Electrical Estimator with site evaluations and project reviewsCreate and present estimates for fast-turnaround commercial projectsAssign labor resources and manage weekly workforce schedulingCoordinate equipment, tools, lifts, trailers, and other project resourcesCollaborate closely with Commercial HVAC and Plumbing teams to ensure seamless project executionSupport project coordinators with permitting, utility company requirements, billing, and project closeout activitiesOversee material procurement and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure projects stay on scheduleFinancial & Business PerformanceParticipate in Work-in-Progress (WIP) financial meetingsMonitor project performance, profitability, and labor utilizationSupport departmental growth objectives and operational efficiency initiativesBuild strong customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referralsWhat We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications10-15 years of experience in commercial electrical installation and leadershipProven experience managing commercial electrical projects and field personnelStrong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, installation practices, and applicable building codesExperience estimating projects and preparing customer proposalsKnowledge of material purchasing, vendor management, and cost controlStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlinesExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and project management softwarePreferred QualificationsTechnical degree in Electrical Technology or a related fieldExperience leading large commercial installation teamsDemonstrated success improving operational processes and team performanceThe Ideal CandidateYou are a servant leader who enjoys helping others succeed.
