Commercial Effectiveness & Process Optimization Program Manager

Shape smarter commercial processes, stronger partner experiences, and the next generation of sales execution. Join a collaborative, Associate-owned company where innovation, customer success, and continuous improvement shape how we work and grow together.

Hypertherm Associates is seeking a strategic, hands-on Program Manager to help Sales Associates and partners work faster, more consistently, and more effectively. You will lead cross-functional improvements that simplify commercial processes, strengthen partner workflows, expand self-service, and accelerate adoption of better ways of working. By combining lean practices, data, AI, automation, and practical technology solutions, you will turn complex challenges into scalable improvements that drive commercial performance.

As our Commercial Effectiveness & Process Optimization Program Manager, you will:

  • Define and improve commercial processes - Clarify ownership, decision rights, handoffs, workflows, tools, training, and standard work across priority sales motions

  • Reduce friction and complexity - Apply lean and continuous improvement methods to eliminate duplicate work, manual effort, recurring escalations, and unclear processes

  • Build scalable self-service solutions - Create practical documentation, FAQs, job aids, decision trees, knowledge resources, and AI-supported guidance for commercial teams and partners

  • Strengthen the partner experience - Gather feedback, prioritize pain points, and coordinate improvements to partner programs, portals, workflows, and digital experiences

  • Pilot and scale technology-enabled improvements - Identify high-value AI and automation opportunities and partner with governance, Information Systems, and business teams to move pilots through implementation

  • Lead adoption and transformation - Build alignment, communicate the value of change, support training, remove barriers, and establish measures that sustain results across regions and functions

Who you are and the experience you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 10+ years in commercial or sales operations, revenue operations, partner programs, enablement, process improvement, or a related field

  • Experience supporting channel, distribution, or indirect sales models and a strong understanding of commercial processes, partner workflows, and value-selling approaches

  • Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation, adoption, and measurement

  • Experience applying lean or structured improvement methods to simplify work, improve consistency, and enhance partner experience

  • Ability to identify and implement practical AI, automation, and technology solutions; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Copilot, Dynamics 365, or similar platforms

  • Strong communication, analytical, prioritization, and influencing skills, with the ability to work independently across functions, regions, cultures, and levels

Preferred experience that differentiates you:

  • Knowledge of Hypertherm's products or industrial cutting markets

  • Experience with Power BI, advanced Excel, partner portals, knowledge bases, or scalable enablement tools

  • Experience supporting AI or automation pilots in commercial operations, partner programs, or revenue operations

Location: Continental United States (remote)
