About JM Test Systems
JM Test Systems provides calibration, test and measurement equipment, and technical services across multiple business segments and service locations. We help customers in industrial, energy, manufacturing, and other demanding environments keep critical instruments accurate, compliant, and ready to perform.
Job Summary
In this role, you will own our customer Master Service Agreements (MSAs) from first conversation through signature, renewal, and expansion. You'll partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Purchasing to clear roadblocks, negotiate sound terms, and extend coverage across our locations, while also supporting vendor and general business contracts. Success means agreements that move quickly, customer work that starts on time, and growing MSA coverage with the customers we already serve.
Key Responsibilities & Outcomes
· Own the MSA lifecycle. Drive customer MSAs from intake through execution, implementation, renewal, and amendment with clear ownership and minimal delays.
· Keep work moving. Review SOWs, PO releases, and work authorizations against the governing MSA so approved work can begin promptly.
· Grow MSA coverage. Partner with Outside Sales to find uncovered entities and locations, set priorities and next steps, and follow through.
· Negotiate and manage risk. Negotiate routine commercial terms within approved playbooks, weigh pricing and margin with Finance, and escalate material legal risk to counsel.
· Support vendor and business agreements. Evaluate vendor distribution agreements with Purchasing and coordinate staffing, contractor, NDA, and other business contracts.
· Deliver visibility. Maintain the contract repository and pipeline, track renewals, and report to leadership on status, coverage, and opportunities.
· Build better processes. Improve templates, playbooks, and workflows to make contracting faster and more consistent.
Requirements
Education
· Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, operations, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience
· 5+ years in contract management, commercial or legal operations, procurement, vendor management, pricing, or a related function, including managing agreements from negotiation through renewal.
· Preferred: B2B contracts such as MSAs, SOWs, or vendor agreements; work with Outside Sales and multi-location customers; industrial, technical services, or distribution background; contracting certification or paralegal certificate.
Skills & Capabilities
· Reads contract language, spots commercial and operational risk, and knows when to escalate.
· Influences without authority and drives action across teams and outside organizations.
· Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and business judgment tied to revenue and margin.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract, CRM, or workflow systems.
