Senior Commercial Construction Project Manager

Position Overview

A well-established and growing commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.

  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall financial performance.

  • Develop project execution strategies and ensure successful project delivery.

  • Manage owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams.

  • Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project documents.

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project closeout.

  • Monitor project costs, forecasting, schedules, quality, and risk.

  • Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Mentor and provide leadership to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project staff.

  • Identify and resolve issues affecting project cost, schedule, quality, or client satisfaction.

  • Work closely with field leadership to ensure projects are executed efficiently and safely.

  • Assist with preconstruction, estimating, business development, and client development activities.

  • Provide regular project updates and financial reporting to company leadership.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of commercial construction project management experience preferred.

  • Proven experience successfully managing complex commercial construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.

  • Experience leading project teams and managing subcontractors and vendors.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong client relationship and business development abilities.

  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred but not required.
