Commercial Construction Senior Estimator

A respected General Contractor with a strong backlog of commercial projects is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned estimating professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects from initial budgeting through final pricing and wants to join a financially stable company that values collaboration, work-life balance, and long-term growth.

Senior Estimator Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, with a strong background in ground-up projects
• Proven ability to lead and manage the estimating process from conceptual budgeting through bid submission
• Strong experience preparing detailed estimates, budgets, and bid proposals across multiple projects
• Experience pricing, tracking, and negotiating change orders and project costs
• Strong understanding of project budgets, P&L, cost control, and margin projections
• Ability to review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and subcontractor proposals to identify costs and potential issues
• Strong subcontractor and vendor relationships with the ability to solicit, evaluate, and negotiate competitive bids
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, project managers, and internal leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, but not required
