Boyer Commercial Construction is hiring a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead mid-sized commercial projects from pre-construction through closeout. Based in Columbia, SC, you'll manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and stakeholders on projects ranging from office buildings to retail and mixed-use developments.
What You'll Do
- Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects (scheduling, budgeting, quality control, safety)
- Manage subcontractor coordination, pricing, and performance
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, and cost tracking
- Communicate with clients, architects, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes
- Problem-solve daily site and coordination challenges
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Proven ability to manage projects $1M-$10M+ in scope
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and trades
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Valid driver's license; willing to travel to job sites
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
