Responsibilities
- Assist with preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with project bidding
- Support Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of commercial construction projects
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Request and compare subcontractor pricing
- Track project documentation, schedules, and budgets
- Assist with change orders, project administration, and closeout documentation
- Maintain organized project files and estimating records
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of estimating, project coordination, or construction experience preferred
- Commercial construction experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read construction plans and specifications
- Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Eager to learn and grow within the commercial construction industry
