    Commercial Construction Estimator

     

    Competitive Pay DOE

     

    Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm

     

    Aventure Staffing is partnering with a premier construction leader in the Northwest Iowa region.  We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimator to play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase.  In this position, you will leverage your expertise to provide accurate cost analysis and strategic bidding for diverse builds.  If you are looking for a collaborative environment where your technical precision directly influences the success of large-scale developments, we want to hear from you.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Build detailed labor and material estimates.
    • Quantify materials and labor to ensure budget accuracy.
    • Research specifications to help craft winning bid strategies.
    • Review and interpret project plans and technical specs.
    • Identify project requirements and potential "red flag" site conditions.
    • Disseminate vital information to vendors and partners.
    • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
    • Perform any special assignments, additional projects, or other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position as required by the executive team.

     

    Requirements:

    • 2–4-year college degree in relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Design, and/or equivalent work experience
    • Strong planning, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Strong organizations skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to travel to various construction sites
    • Working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet resources
