Commercial Construction Estimator

Aventure Staffing is partnering with a premier construction leader in the Northwest Iowa region. We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimator to play a pivotal role in the pre-construction phase. In this position, you will leverage your expertise to provide accurate cost analysis and strategic bidding for diverse builds. Responsibilities:
- Build detailed labor and material estimates.
- Quantify materials and labor to ensure budget accuracy.
- Research specifications to help craft winning bid strategies.
- Review and interpret project plans and technical specs.
- Identify project requirements and potential "red flag" site conditions.
- Disseminate vital information to vendors and partners.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits.
- Perform any special assignments, additional projects, or other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position as required by the executive team.
Requirements:
- 2–4-year college degree in relevant field such as Construction Management, Engineering, Architectural Design, and/or equivalent work experience
- Strong planning, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong organizations skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to travel to various construction sites
- Working knowledge of computers, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet resources
