Description

As a Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager - NYC, you will:

• Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day management of commercial interior construction projects.
• Support budgeting, subcontractor coordination, procurement, and document control.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Coordinate project schedules and communicate project updates with clients and field teams.
• Attend jobsite meetings and assist with project reporting.
• Track project costs and support closeout activities.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, design teams, owners, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Profile

A successful Commercial Construction Assistant Project Manager - NYC will look like:

• 2-5+ years of experience working for a General Contractor.
• Background in commercial interiors, retail, tenant improvements, or office fit-outs.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documents and project management processes.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project scheduling.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Motivated to grow into a Project Manager role.
