Role Details:
- Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.00 / hour
- Hours: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday (22.5 hours/week)
- Location: On-site at a K-8 school facility in the greater Lansing area
Primary Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for keeping offices, walkways, lobbies, restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas presentable, safe, and sanitary.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, classrooms, and lobby spaces.
- Vacuum carpeted areas, sweep, and mop hard surface floors.
- Dust surfaces, fixtures, and furniture; clean interior glass and mirrors.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
- Monitor and restock paper products, soap dispensers, and cleaning supplies.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Background Check: Must possess a clear criminal background record.
- Drug Screen: Must pass a drug screening
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and kneel for extended periods, as well as lift up to 55 lbs as needed during your shift.
- Dependability: Exceptional attendance record, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently.
- Communication: Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Transportation: Must have your own reliable transportation to ensure punctual arrival.
