Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and efficient Commercial Cleaning Health and Safety Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our customers' facilities. You will manage an assigned route, visiting multiple customer locations to perform essential tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing, stocking supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a friendly smile and actively build positive rapport with them.
- Complete necessary route paperwork, provide invoices, and collect customer payments as needed.
- Clean and sanitize various customer facilities, including restrooms, offices, gyms, restaurants, retail businesses, schools, and other commercial spaces.
- Perform specialized deep cleaning tasks, such as restoring floor tile and grout.
- Ensure restrooms are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Perform all work duties safely and in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Keep company vehicles, the warehouse, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Properly and safely use cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must maintain a valid Driver's License and a safe driving record.
- Ability to clearly communicate in English
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time, with the ability to push, pull, and bend as necessary to complete tasks.
- Excellent ability to manage your time, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities despite interruptions.
- A strong desire to actively look for ways to help people and maintain a keen awareness of customer reactions.
Work Environment
- Primarily an indoor work environment.
- Regular exposure to standard cleaning chemicals.
- Required use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, and masks.
- Working conditions can range from hot to cold; the environment may occasionally be dusty with moderate noise levels.
