About the role
Total Construction Inc. is a commercial general contractor in Conshohocken. We’re looking for an experienced commercial carpenter with a strong background in metal stud framing and drywall hanging. You’ll be a carpenter first, working across our commercial interior projects, and you’ll be the person we count on to frame and hang with speed and accuracy. Schedule (5am-2pm M-TH/ 5am-11am Friday)
What you’ll do
- Lay out and install metal stud framing for walls, soffits, bulkheads, and ceilings from plans
- Hang drywall, including fire-rated and moisture-resistant board
- Install doors, frames, and hardware
- Handle blocking, backing, and general interior commercial carpentry as needed
- Work from lifts, scaffolding, and ladders
- Work with our supervisors and other trades to keep jobs on schedule
What we’re looking for
- 10+ years of commercial carpentry experience
- Strong metal stud framing and drywall hanging skills
- Able to read plans and work to tolerance
- Your own reliable transportation and hand tools
- Reliable, safety-minded, and able to work in a crew or on your own
- OSHA 10 is a plus
