    We’re partnering with a respected mechanical contractor serving Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, and surrounding Gulf Coast areas. With approximately 75% commercial and 25% residential work—and frequent involvement in new ground-up commercial construction—you’ll see a wide variety of systems and service situations.

    Your impact

    • Diagnose and repair complex commercial HVAC issues efficiently.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance on RTUs, chillers, split systems, air handlers, and package units.
    • Inspect equipment proactively to catch problems before they escalate.
    • Handle start-up, testing, balancing, and commissioning assignments.
    • Document work thoroughly and communicate findings and options with customers.
    • Follow company safety protocols and adhere to local building codes.
    • Coordinate with the service team to deliver a seamless customer experience.

    What you’ll need to bring

    • Preferred: 4+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
    • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic capability.
    • Experience with RTUs, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and controls.
    • Exposure to HVAC controls/BAS is a plus.
    • Valid Florida driver’s license and clean MVR.
    • Ability to work independently while delivering top-tier customer service.

    Bonus experience

    • Commercial service and maintenance background.
    • Time on Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin, Lennox, or similar equipment.

    Core competencies

    • HVAC and HVAC/R systems expertise; customer service mindset.
    • Refrigeration systems knowledge and safe refrigerant practices.
    • Electrical troubleshooting (controls, circuits, sensors).
    • Mechanical diagnostics and component repair.
    • Preventive maintenance and inspection routines.
    • Industrial automation equipment troubleshooting.
    • HVAC service, installation, maintenance, system troubleshooting, and repair.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

    Tools you’ll handle

    • Commercial HVAC and refrigeration/cooling systems.
    • Voltage detectors/testers and multimeters.
    • Power tools and trade-specific instruments.
