Our commercial clients are business owners with a lot on the line, and they need someone meticulous in their corner. In this role you'll retain, service, and grow our commercial and brokered book of business: managing endorsements, coordinating with carriers and brokers, running account reviews, and spotting both risks and opportunities inside existing accounts.

A typical day: clearing the commercial and brokered queue, processing endorsements and policy changes, coordinating with carriers and brokers, completing every follow-up on your list, and finding around two quote opportunities a day inside the book. This is a role for someone who loves order, where great documentation and great relationships are the same skill.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial and brokered accounts end to end
• Manage endorsements and policy changes accurately
• Coordinate with carriers and brokers to get clients answers fast
• Conduct account reviews and identify coverage gaps and E&O concerns
• Generate growth opportunities, including life insurance referrals
• Keep documentation organized and complete every follow-up, daily

How we measure success together: about 10 issued items and 4 life opportunities per month, 3 hours of daily talk time, the commercial queue cleared and all follow-ups completed every day, and an average of 2 quote opportunities per day.

• Active Texas Property & Casualty license
• Working knowledge of commercial insurance (or strong personal lines experience and hunger to learn commercial)
• Extremely organized. You can explain the system you use to stay on top of things
• Process-oriented with strong follow-through
• Consultative communicator who can explain insurance in plain language
• Ownership mentality: when something's yours, it gets done
