ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Prepare and board commercial loans as part of the Commercial Closing department. The primary function includes boarding externally documented new loans, renewals and extensions. The Commercial Booking Associate II ensures documentation prepared by external counsel is properly executed and processed on the Bank''s core operating systems. In addition, the duties include conducting a second day review of boarded loans.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Utilize the Commercial Loan operating systems, in order to effectively board new, renewed, extended and modified loans.
Maintain a solid working knowledge of high level commercial lending transactions, including real estate, ABLOC, SWAP loans, syndications and participations. Review and understand concepts set forth in the promissory note and various other documents securing loans in order to make an accurate comparison with the Bank''s internal loan approval to properly board loans.
Ensure completion of assigned daily department second day boarding verification requirements for externally documented commercial loans.
Timely respond to inquiries from various internal and external servicing and lending departments regarding changes and modifications to existing and new loan boarding data for assigned loans.
Review loan closing and modification documents and offer necessary changes in response to inquiries for operation control group compliance.
Track and assign various booking department responsibilities as needed.
Knowledge of applicable compliance requirements for loan closings and operations in order to respond to booking inquiries
