Position Overview:
The Commercial Banker III is responsible for developing and acquiring new, profitable relationships and maintaining existing ones. This role evaluates, negotiates, and monitors credits to maximize earnings for the bank. Utilizing business development tactics, including Business Development by Design, CRM, and scorecards, this position drives individual activities and production goals. The Commercial Banker III reports to the Commercial Banking Manager or Commercial Banking Team Lead. This role represents the bank in the community, increasing overall awareness of Broadway Bank and projecting a positive image of the bank as a stable, sound, profitable, innovative, and modern financial institution. Focus is placed on top-tier clientele with high profit potential, specifically targeting business clients with revenues in excess of $1MM and borrowing needs in excess of $500M.
A strong understanding of the bank's credit policy and expertise in financial statement analysis is essential. This role utilizes overall financial and business acumen to provide sound, comprehensive solutions to clients and centers of influence. Additionally, the role seeks opportunities to develop expertise in core banking products while maintaining an excellent team of referral partners across various lines of business.
