Automobile Claims Adjuster – New York Licensed

Location: Pennsylvania / New York
Contract to Permanent
Schedule: Eastern Time business hours

We are seeking an experienced Automobile Claims Adjuster to manage automobile physical damage, property damage liability, and No-Fault/PIP claims from initial investigation through resolution.

This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed adjuster who enjoys working independently, evaluating complex claims, negotiating settlements, and providing outstanding service to insureds, claimants, attorneys, and clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve automobile claims.

  • Review policy language and determine applicable coverage.

  • Assess liability, damages, exposure, and potential recovery opportunities.

  • Establish and maintain appropriate claim reserves.

  • Develop settlement strategies and move claims efficiently toward resolution.

  • Manage claims involving litigation and coordinate with legal counsel.

  • Work with appraisers, investigators, vendors, and other outside resources.

  • Identify subrogation, contribution, and risk-transfer opportunities.

  • Prepare clear claim reports covering liability, damages, reserves, and recommended next steps.

  • Maintain accurate documentation, diaries, correspondence, and follow-up activities.

  • Provide responsive, professional service to all parties involved.

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • 2+ years of automobile claims experience.

  • Experience with physical damage, property damage liability, casualty, and/or No-Fault/PIP claims.

  • Current New York Adjuster License required.

  • Ability to obtain a California Adjuster License and any additional required licenses.

  • Strong coverage analysis, negotiation, reserving, documentation, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to independently manage a claims inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and experience independently handling litigated claims from assignment through final resolution.
