Commercial Construction Site Manager

Job Description

Supervise daily on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to maintain project timelines. Monitor safety protocols and enforce compliance with safety standards. Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company and client standards. Assist in resolving on-site issues and provide solutions to maintain project momentum. Communicate progress and updates to the project manager and stakeholders. Maintain accurate project documentation and daily logs. Support the implementation of cost-effective construction practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Retail Superintendent should have: Experience managing retail construction projects from start to finish. 2-5 years of construction experience. Experience building adaptive reuse, retail, restaurant, office, and/or medical office projects preferred. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams effectively. Ability to resolve challenges and adapt to changing project needs. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
