Commercial Alarm System Inspector — Charleston, SCCennox | Full-Time | Field-Based

About the RoleCennox is hiring a Commercial Alarm System Inspector to join our Electronic Security division serving the greater Charleston, SC area. This is a full-time, field-based position responsible for testing, inspecting, and surveying electronic security systems at banking and commercial facilities within an approximately 100-mile radius.We will provide full training on alarm systems — no prior security experience is required. We are looking for candidates with a solid technical foundation who are ready to build specialized expertise in a growing field.What You'll Do

Perform scheduled inspections, tests, and surveys of electronic security systems at commercial and banking facilities
Complete related project work and service calls within your assigned territory
Maintain accurate records and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal teams
Represent Cennox professionally in client-facing environments

What We're Looking ForRequired:

Demonstrated technical aptitude — background in electrical, mechanical, low-voltage, IT, or a related trade
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a reliable, insured personal vehicle
Ability to work independently, manage a daily schedule, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Strong communication and customer service skills
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that include climbing, bending, and working in varying weather conditions

Preferred:

Prior experience in any field service, inspection, or technical trade role
Comfort working from a tablet or Android device for scheduling and reporting

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 annually, depending on experience
