Job Purpose or Objective(s): The Training Manager is responsible for leading the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs within gaming operations. This role drives operational excellence by developing high-performing teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and enhancing the overall guest experience. The position requires a hands-on leader who can supervise, coach, and mentor a team, while collaborating with operational leaders to meet strategic business objectives.

Primary Tasks:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of training professionals to deliver effective training programs aligned with brand standards, industry regulations, and company goals.
  • Design, deploy, and evaluate training programs for all operations, including onboarding, train-the-trainer programs, and ongoing associate development.
  • Visit assigned departments to validate training systems, processes and operational standards.
  • Collaborate and work with operational leaders and functional management teams to assess ongoing and future training & development as well as effectiveness of established programs.
  • Manage and oversee training programs and processes for new hires, existing associates, and new openings.
  • Track and report on training effectiveness using KPIs such as associate performance, engagement, and operational compliance metrics.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate training initiatives with broader organizational goals, and process improvements.
  • Mentor and develop future training leaders within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

MINIMUM

  • Bachelor's Degree or four (4) years of directly related experience.
  • Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Windows XP, including computer-based cash handling experience.
  • Proficiency with e-learning techniques.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
  • Solid time management skills, computer competence, and the ability to use multi-media effectively.
  • Five (5) years' comprehensive job-related experience in guiding and training others to obtain knowledge and experience to help achieve performance goals.
  • Ability to travel to multiple venues as required.

TARGET

  • Bachelor's Degree or extensive experience in a directly related field

  • Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows XP, including computer-based cash handling experience

  • Proficiency with e-learning techniques

  • Works well independently and cooperatively in a team environment

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, interpersonal and managerial skills

  • Solid time management skills, computer competence, and the ability to use multi-media effectively.

  • Five (5) years of training with prior experience managing a team of Trainers

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a directly related field

  • Strong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows XP, including computer-based cash handling experience

  • Proficiency with e-learning techniques

  • Highly organized, detailed oriented, and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment

  • Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, interpersonal and managerial skills

  • Solid time management skills, computer competence, and the ability to use multi-media effectively

  • Five (5) years training with prior supervisory experience

  • Direct training, coaching and developing, auditing/inspecting work to ensure standards are met, promoting teamwork and inclusiveness and scheduling of all Operational Training trainers.

  • Visit assigned venues on a weekly basis to validate training systems and processes for all positions are in place for all venues. Working side by side with associates, supervisors, chefs and GM's coaching and teaching them during the shift.

  • Monitor associates for adherence to Oklahoma ABLE laws, Tips, ARA, Serve Safe, food safety, OSHA, ADA and Choctaw Nation policies.

  • Oversee programs and processes at new venue openings while working side by side each person, coaching, teaching and leading by example.

  • Design and deploy training opportunities and programs based on needs of the organization and business.

  • Be the expert in the training that you write and fully understand the process so you can teach it.

  • Effectively teach classes for onboarding programs, train the trainer programs, develop department trainers, and support curriculum development.

  • Oversee tracking of your property/properties level training, in accordance with designated goals and related to Commerce Operations.

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned.
