Description

The Comfort Consultant will work closely with the HVAC Manager and Sales Manager to achieve sales KPIs and meet departmental budget and production goals. The successful candidate will engage with customers to understand their needs and offer the best services and equipment solutions. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, offering evaluations and quotes, supporting field technicians, and managing post-sale projects.

What You'll Do:

  • Convert sales leads into sold work for the HVAC install department
  • Interpret the service technician recommendations and perform additional inspections to best understand the nature of the issue and to educate the customer on their home repair needs
  • Develop multiple service options to meet the long-term home repair needs of the client
  • Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Educate the customer on financing options
  • Collect client information and maintain accurate interaction notes
  • Participate in all required company trainings and meetings
  • Travel to customer homes
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What Does It Take?

  • Minimum of 2 years of previous sales experience
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous HVAC install or service experience
  • Knowledge of Service Titan software

Physical Requirements: This position requires frequent driving, standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing stairs throughout the workday. Employees must be able to safely navigate residential homes and properties, including basements, attics, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and other confined or restricted areas as needed to evaluate HVAC systems and customer needs. The role may require climbing ladders and frequently lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, including equipment, tools, product samples, and other materials. Work may be performed indoors and outdoors and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, dust, dirt, uneven surfaces, and other conditions commonly encountered in residential HVAC environments.
