Job Description We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Colorist to join our post-production team. The primary responsibility of this role is to color grade RAW footage and design custom LUTs that elevate our visual storytelling. This is a crucial creative and technical position, ensuring that every project meets the highest standards of visual quality and consistency. Responsibilities Color Grading: Expertly color grade RAW video footage to enhance visual storytelling, mood, and tone across diverse projects. LUT Creation: Develop, refine, and maintain custom LUTs to establish distinct and consistent visual styles. Collaboration: Work closely with directors, cinematographers, and editors to understand creative vision and translate it into compelling color work. Technical Precision: Ensure color accuracy, consistency, and quality across multiple formats and platforms. Workflow Management: Manage color pipelines from RAW footage to final delivery, optimizing efficiency and maintaining industry standards. Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed checks to guarantee that final graded footage is broadcast-ready and visually polished. Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest color grading tools, workflows, and trends to continuously improve output. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is preferred. Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Colorist or in a related post-production role. Skills Proficiency in industry-standard color grading software such as DaVinci Resolve (preferred), Baselight, or equivalent. Strong technical knowledge of color science, codecs, file formats, and RAW workflows. Deep understanding of color theory and its application in visual storytelling. Ability to create and apply LUTs across different cameras and production environments. Exceptional attention to detail with a refined aesthetic sensibility.
