Job Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Color Mixer / Painter with a strong background in blending colors and applying coatings on steel materials. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in industrial painting, color matching, and material preparation within a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Mix and blend paints, coatings, or finishes to achieve precise color matches
- Apply paint/coatings to steel and metal materials using spray guns or other equipment
- Read and follow job orders, specifications, and color formulas
- Ensure proper surface preparation (cleaning, sanding, masking, etc.)
- Inspect finished products for color accuracy, consistency, and quality
- Maintain and clean painting and mixing equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE
Requirements
- Proven experience in color mixing and blending (required)
- Experience working with steel or metal materials (required)
- Industrial or manufacturing painting experience preferred
- Ability to match colors accurately and consistently
- Familiar with spray equipment and painting tools
- Detail-oriented with strong quality control skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be reliable and open to overtime
