    Collision Technician

    Location: Oakes Collision | Kansas City, MO
    Schedule: Full - Time | Monday - Friday
    Compensation: $60,000 - $100,000 plus annually

    About the Role

     

    The Body Technician plays a critical role in the collision repair process by repairing damaged vehicles to manufacturer and company standards while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency. This position works closely with estimators, production staff, and leadership to help ensure repairs are completed accurately and on time.     What You’ll Do

     

    • Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs

    • Repair and replace damaged body panels and components

    • Disassemble and reassemble vehicles during the repair process

    • Work closely with estimators and production staff to maintain workflow efficiency

    • Perform repairs according to OEM and safety standards

    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

    • Complete repairs accurately while meeting production timelines

    • Assist with quality control and final vehicle inspections

    Requirements

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record

    • Ability to pass a standard background check

    • Strong reliability and consistent attendance

    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

    • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

    • Previous body shop or collision repair experience preferred

    • Ability to safely operate tools and shop equipment

    • Strong attention to detail and repair accuracy
