    Description

Collision General Manager – Attleboro, MA area
    Full time · On-site

Our client is an owner-operated collision center in the Attleboro, MA area. The owners want to step back from day-to-day operations and run the business as owners rather than operators. They're hiring a General Manager to take full ownership of the shop: production, people, customers and results.

    Compensation

    • $75,000 – $85,000 base salary
    • Monthly incentive of 2.5% of the collision shop's gross profit
    • Quarterly KPI bonus tied to shop performance
    • Paid time off

    About the shop

    • 3-bay, ~6,000 sq ft collision center, about 1.5 years old, with room to grow into unused space
    • Mostly fleet and commercial van work, about 45 vans per month
    • No DRP relationships today, and the owners are open to adding them
    • Sister mechanical shop (in-shop and mobile fleet service) about 10 minutes away
    • Team of 7, including the General Manager

What success looks like in year one

    • The shop runs day to day without the owners in the weeds
    • Vans move through consistently, with a turn time of 2–3 days per van
    • Quality holds and comebacks are kept low
    • A stable, accountable team, plus a plan for adding insurance/DRP work

    What you'll do

    • Own workflow and production from estimate through delivery, including scheduling, parts and quality control
    • Lead, train and hold the team accountable, and hire as the shop grows
    • Manage fleet customer relationships and keep vans returning to service on schedule
    • Own the shop's P&L and track KPIs such as cycle time, gross profit, comebacks and customer satisfaction
    • Write or review estimates and keep repair documentation accurate
    • Build relationships with insurers and pursue DRP opportunities with the owners
    • Find and fix process gaps so the shop can handle more volume
    • Report results to the owners on a regular cadence

    What we're looking for

    • Proven collision shop management experience with responsibility for production and people
    • Comfort owning financial results (P&L, KPIs)
    • Working knowledge of collision estimating

    Preferred experience

    • Fleet or commercial vehicle repair
    • Insurance/DRP relationships (a plus; the shop has none today)
    • I-CAR training

    Why this role

    • Real authority: the owners are hiring you to run the shop
    • Pay that grows with the shop's results, on top of a solid base
    • A chance to build the insurance/DRP side from scratch

Schedule and additional benefits to be confirmed.

If you've run a collision shop and want the authority to own its results, apply through Motocruit.
