About the Hiring Department:

Provider contract administration involves managing the entire lifecycle of agreements between healthcare payers (insurers) and providers (doctors, hospitals) to ensure compliance, accurate reimbursement, and smooth operational workflows.

Co-op Job Description:

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of standard agreements between Independence and AmeriHealth with ancillary providers
  • Ensure contracts comply with applicable policies, regulations, and financial standards
  • Serve as a liaison by maintaining and updating standard contract templates
  • Track obligations and renewals
  • Support ongoing contract monitoring and assist with issue resolution as needed

Required Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Managing competing priorities to deliver high-quality projects on time.

Accepted Majors:

  • Business Administration
  • Business Management

Classification:

  • Junior or Senior undergraduate students
