JOB DESCRIPTION:
Drives the end-to-end pursuit of high-value consulting engagements for Client's College Athletics practice. Working within Client's Sales Center of Excellence (COE), partners with College Athletics Capability leadership to source, shape, and close deals with Athletic Directors, university athletics CFOs, and senior university leadership, building a disciplined pipeline of net-new opportunities and leading pursuits through to signed statements of work.
Expected Deliverable(s)
"Pipeline Growth Build and manage a robust portfolio of net-new consulting opportunities across universities, university athletic departments and affiliated organizations, and conferences. Prospect and develop relationships with university leaders, Athletics Directors, university athletics CFOs, and other senior institutional stakeholders. Executive Alignment Forge trusted relationships with the college athletics equivalent of C-suite stakeholders — Athletics Directors, Deputy ADs/COOs, C-suite leaders of affiliate organizations, university CFOs, and provosts/presidents where relevant. Serve as the practice's senior relationship owner for top prospective and existing accounts. Pursuit Leadership Lead a disciplined sales process for each pursuit, including pricing strategy, win-theme development, and oral presentations to institutional decision-makers and search/procurement committees. Partner with practice leadership and subject matter advisors to shape proposals and scope multi-workstream engagements (financial analysis, organizational design, revenue generation strategy, operating model evaluation). Alliance Co-Selling Coordinate co-selling strategies with relevant technology and industry alliance partners (e.g., ticketing/CRM platforms, university ERP/finance systems, sports-tech vendors, architecture & engineering firms, real estate developers, etc.) to strengthen joint proposals. Represent the College Athletics practice within Client's broader Sales COE, aligning pursuits with firmwide account strategies where applicable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. 8–10+ years of experience managing complex clients and selling large-scale professional services, ideally with exposure to higher education, collegiate athletics, or sports business. Documented track record of meeting or exceeding dollar sales quotas over long, complex sales cycles. Pre-existing network of executive buyer relationships within college athletics. Experience leading formal pursuit processes, including pricing strategy, win-theme development, and oral presentations to institutional decision-makers.
Preferred Skills MBA preferred.
