Position: (B2B) Collections Specialist
Setting: 2-ish week(s) onsite training then work is Remote
Based Out Of: Livonia, MI 48152
Pay: $20 - $23/hour
We are seeking an experienced B2B Collections Specialist local to Michigan with a robust background in commercial collections. This role is far from standard collections work; it involves handling a wide range of business-to-business collections across multiple waste streams, requiring flexibility and adaptability in approach.
Responsibilities:
- Execute B2B collections across diverse client profiles with varying requirements.
- Manage lien waivers, track government fund disbursements, and handle specialized documentation.
- Understand and adapt to each customers billing and documentation needs.
- Build and maintain detailed customer profiles, ensuring all supporting documentation is accurate and complete.
- Communicate with clients using tailored approaches based on audience and situation.
Requirements:
- Must be able to commute to Livonia, MI
- 2+ years of experience with B2B collections, ideally with varied customer profiles
- Ability to pivot approaches effectively, based on each customer's situation
- Strong organizational skills for managing and gathering client documentation
Ideals (preferred, not required):
- Accounting degree - associates, bachelors, etc.
