Responsibilities
- Contact customers by phone and email to resolve past-due account balances
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements within company guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activity in the system
- Monitor assigned accounts and prioritize outreach based on aging
- Reconcile account discrepancies and process payments
- Collaborate with billing and customer service teams to resolve disputes
- Meet monthly collection targets and productivity goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable handling high call volumes in a remote setting
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and CRM or billing software
- Professional, empathetic, and persistent phone manner
